Make your alloys look as good as new.
Our team of professionals will use the following steps to refurbish alloy wheels:
We remove the tyres completely to give access to the entire wheel to be re-painted.
We then remove all previous balancing plates and valves.
The alloy wheel is then dipped into strong acid to remove all previous paint and bring the wheel back to pure metal.
The wheels are then inspected for damage repair.
All surface damage is removed by sanding and shot blasting.
The wheels are cleaned and prepared for the powder coating stage.
The wheel is the pre-heated to a temperature of ~180┬░c. This step accelerates the release of gas from the alloy wheel.
The wheels are covered with powder paint of your choice and re-heated to ~180┬░c.
An optional diamond cut step is then completed, where a CNC machine is used to cut the face of the wheel, giving the well-known diamond cut effect.
The wheels are given a clear coat using state of the art lacquer in the powder coating process to give a strong gloss look and lasting protection from corrosion and rust.
The wheels are baked in the oven before cooling.
Once the wheel has cooled down to room temperature, the wheels are ready for tyre re-fitting.
Tyres are refitted and the wheels are rebalanced.
A final quality check is performed.
The wheels are then refitted back onto your vehicle.

What is car alloy refurbishment?
Car alloy refurbishment refers to refurbishing and repairing alloy wheels on normal cars. A refurbishment repairs and remove any damage caused by kerbing of wheels as wheel as normal corrosion and paint peeling. Paint peeling is very common on alloy wheels that are over 5 years old. The refurbishment process restores a flat and smooth surface to your wheel.
Can any car alloy be refurbished?Yes ÔÇô all alloy wheels can be refurbished. In very rare instances, some alloy wheels are damaged beyond repair or to an extent that the work required to bring an alloy wheel back to scratch is uneconomical to perform. Although this is usually not the case
Can I change the colour of my car alloys?One of the major benefits of alloy wheel refurbishment is that you get to choose the colour you would like your wheels to be finished in. This is the element where your creativity can shine. Custom chrome and candy colours are available, as well as using multiple colours to create your desired look. Wheels can also be painted in standard stock colours.
How long does it take to complete car alloy refurbishment?Time taken to complete alloy refurbishment can vary by the service. Standard powder coating takes 1-2 days to complete, with 80% being completed within one full day. Diamond cut alloy repair takes a minimum of two days with a maximum of 5 days, although majority of diamond cut alloy wheels can be completed within 3 days.
Is there a guarantee with car alloy refurbishment?
We provide a guarantee on the paint work for 12 months starting the day of collection. The guarantee covers any issue relating to the completion of the paint work.
